Winged Things

Hello Butterfly Hunters!

Are you having any luck finding some butterflies to study this month?

We’ve come across so many, and even caught a few smaller ones, but the big showy swallowtails that my boys are after… those fly too fast and too high. Smart cookies, those butterflies!

We worked together to plant some salvia and lantana, so we hope to have butterflies visiting the Blue Yonder garden cafe soon!

We also wanted to share with you this sweet craft from the Book of Days family over at Dim Sum, Bagels, and Crawfish.

Aren’t they great? You can find all the details here.

I SO love the look of these sweet upcycled butterflies too. I can envision them covering every available surface!

If, like us, you just can’t get enough of the butterflies, try a few of these links:

My guys have stood and watched this neat movie countless times.

Lot’s of folks have written to tell us how much the love Journey North, and we have to agree. Tons of great information, interesting photos and videos to be found there.

Happy hunting, lepidopterologists!
