No, I’m still alive, but believe me, in the last week, I have, on more than one occasion, contemplated the sweet relief that is lying six feet under.
Not really, but kinda.
It’s sad really, that the one time I get to lay up in bed for days, watching back to back chick movies and episodes of Big Love, snoozing here and there, as the mood strikes, I can’t even enjoy it.
It was a good three days of miserable, fever, can’t breathe, coughing, aching, stuffy head, please someone knock me unconscious, followed by several (ongoing) days of feeling sore, tired, and still bluh.
“Bluh” is a word that Ryder has given us. It is the opposite of “ahhhhhh,”
“How’s your dinner Ryder?”
“Bluh”
“Did you have a good time in Sunday school, Ryder?”
“Ahhhhhhh”
“How does Mama look, Ryder?”
“Bluh”
“Want some chocolate milk?”
“Ahhhhh”
“How does Mama look while holding the chocolate milk?”
“Ahhhhhh!”
I’m still waiting to feel “aaahhhhh”.
“Ahhhhh” can’t get here fast enough.
I do have some fun stuff to share with you though, so come back tomorrow, and I promise to be, if not “ahhh” at least a little less, “bluh.” Deal?

Hope you feel 100 percent soon!!
Feel better soon.

Sorry you have been feeling so bluh.
Feel better right now. That’s an order!
Oh…the summer bluh! I am soo sorry. Hope you are better sooner than later.
Just read your Bio and I could have been reading about myself! Weird, eh?
Glad you’re feeling a little better. I’ve missed you. Think I’ll go now and have some chocolate milk. You’ve made me thirsty.
I think his “bluh” is my “bleh”.
Here…let me try it.
“What do you think of Big Love Heather?”
–bluh
Um…that doesn’t really do it.
Let’s try again.
“What do you think of Big Love Heather?”
–ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YOU WATCH THAT SHOW?
Yea, I think that probably was more to the point.
heh heh
Big Love?
Girl – you are…an enigma.
Feel better soon!
Poor thing…
ah man. that stinks that you’re still sick. seems to really be going around these days. my kids were sick last week and we’re up in northern california! guess these spring time virus’ are nationwide… feel better soon!
Well, I wondered if you were still sick, and was hoping you were all just caught up in some fun activities. How Bluh!
Funny! That kinda reminds me of Billy Crystal’s character in The Princess Bride.
I’ve missed you. Glad you are getting closer to ‘ahhhhh’. I hope the boys have been keeping the smiles happening.
I love ‘Big Love’ too. I don’t know anyone else who watches it – yah someone else!!! We are only up to season 2 here, in Australia, and so far I have missed about 3 or more of the 7 or so episodes. So, I’ll have to be getting it all from somewhere and watch it back to back..
I’ve been sick these past few days too, but not nearly so much as you. Hope you can see the sunshine from your bed – and it’s enticing you out to play.
Sleep well. xx
Sorry you are so under the weather! Sometimes, when I’m especially crazy-busy with the school year, I fantasize about being sick and being able to read escape books in bed, but then, when the sick actually comes, it’s not entirely so fun. Feel better. xo
