My guys have been wanting to try their hand at carving for some time.
Call me crazy, but I've been a little hesitant.
Well no more.
Here's what you do: Get yourself some pink Dove bars, cut them in half, and visualize them as hearts. Now grab a butter knife and get to carvin'! Rubbing your carving with a dishcloth will smooth out rough edges.
Before you know it, you'll have a floor that is incredibly messy but smells fantastic…
… AND a handful of sweetheart soaps to share.

Oh, I LOVE THIS!!! My kids are going to go crazy for it. Although I don’t know what to do about the shavings…do they sweep up okay, if I have the kids do this over tile? Or will the soap stick to the floor? We have carpet in most of the house, and I just cannot fathom letting them carve over the carpet.
really, butter knives? That is so awesome. They are going to flip over this project.
