We got the call yesterday evening, and I rushed right out, smiling into the cold night.
We paced and talked and paced some more.
We heard lots of "Come on you can do it… 7..8..9..10. Good job!"
We squinted under florescent lights and waited and wondered and grinned.
And then, we heard what we'd been hoping for.
"He's here!"
At 11:39, my little brother became a Daddy, and my guys got themselves a new little baby boy cousin.
If you heard a faint squealing sound from the general direction of Texas this morning, it was my fellas, whooping and hollering at the sight of their new cousin's sweet photos.
Welcome to the world little man! We're gonna love you up!
I have lots of pictures of our Collin in all his squishy, squinty, delicious newborn glory, but I haven't asked the mama and daddy yet if it's alright to share them. When I have their blessing, you can bet that I'll gush about his loveliness for a ridiculous amount of time.
Y'all please excuse us for a little bit now, while we're busy falling in love with our new guy.
