Ella Fitzgerald is singing, “Baby It’s Cold Outside”.
The vintage poinsettia tablecloth is spread.
The peppermint candle is lit. (Mama? Do you smell candy canes somewhere?)
The new (old) mugs are full of hot chocolate.
On my lap is a stack of old December issues of Martha Stewart Kids, Living and Real Simple.
Meanwhile, my guys are staring, quietly, and dreaming up stories about boys who shrink and live in the snow village. Our sweet Nana adds to our village each year at Thanksgiving… this year we have a new barn, so our shrunken boys are considering woodland rides
So, even though it’s dreary, drizzly and cold out, it is warm and cheery inside.
Of course, it isn’t just Christmas cheer that’s got us grinning…

It could also have something to do with our Aggies’ victory over the horns.
Whoop!
Hope you’re cozy and finding lots of reasons to smile today too

Happy Thanksgiving!!
