I so enjoy your writing. It reminds me of all the things I want to do and be. Your writing always makes me teary. And it isn't from the spicy vegetable soup I am eating right now. I have been wanting to make jam for years now. I've never made jam with anyone and really want to try it out. My boys are old enough and I've been thinking this is the year. Your article is the 2nd I've read about jam making in the past couple of days. I think there will be some jam in my kitchen soon. Thanks so much for sharing. I have been wanting to make jam for years now. I’ve never made jam with anyone and really want to try it out. My boys are old enough and I’ve been thinking this is the year. Great article! My Great Grandmother taught her daughters and their daughters how to make jelly, but I never took the time to get her to show me and now, I will never have that time back. But, the one thing I do have is a video of her making pepper jelly with her best friend-so at least I can watch that while I make my own. I take inspiration from your article and will make the time to get in the kitchen with my mom and grandma and learn and listen and ask and enjoy the stories of our family. Have a fabulous weekend!
