Sometimes they really were trips like the one you're doing this weekend, and sometimes it was to get a special treat. Whatever it was it was fun and spontaneous and a very special part of my childhood. I even have friends who still remember going with us on some. My sisters and I all do them with our kids now too. We're actually going the ultimate mystery trip three weeks from today. We're surprising our boys with a trip to DisneyLand! AH! I can hardly wait! I have wanted to spill the beans about it so many times but reading about how excited your boys are makes me realize how fun it's going to be to hear their giggling and guessing all the way to the airport!
