Did you guess South Padre?
You know what's funny? My parent's never would let me go to Padre for Spring Break with all my high school buddies. I pouted and huffed and moaned that "you just don't trust me!" and "everyone else's parents are letting THEM go!" and how I was "SO! Mistreated!"
Back then, I thought they were ruining my life. Now… I'm so glad that when I hear "Padre" I won't think of less than stellar teenage choices. I'll think of flying kites with my oldest, before anyone else was awake.
And then again with my two younger ones as the last of the light faded from our day.
I'll thinking of soaking and collecting.
Beach combing and wave jumping.
Talking like pirates, ice cream on the deck and cannonballs in the pool.
I always wanted to spend time in Padre with some cute beach boys… and now I've finally gotten my chance

Thanks for triggering the anticipation of precious sand and sea time with my very own cute beach boys (and girl:), counting the days. We are also gearing up to dive into The Book Of Days, talk about anticipation! Lastly, your gorgeous photos and stories have inspired me to create a blog too. My family across the country is very thankful. So, again, thanks and keep up the good work!

Beautiful! There is something so Zen about kids on the beach.

guess we’ll deal with it.
OH, wow! I know you are having a fabulous time. I wish you more and more fun times, and not only at the beach. Happy mini-vacation.
