We're a little sunburned, despite mama attacking them every four seconds with the can of spray on sunscreen.
There was sand in my bed last night.
I have eaten way too much fried food.
And it's bliss.
Every. LIttle. Bit.

On of the drawbacks of living in the middle of the desert…
I live near the ocean. But not that kind of ocean. And certainly not at this time of year. I’m glad you’re enjoying yourselves.
OH, so lucky!!!! I long for the warm sun, sand between my toes, and peel & eat shrimp in big piles! Wow… we have to plan a trip soon!
Oh wow, awesome, I miss the sea…
I’m just a little jealous.
However, we have sand in our shoes too, as a result of a load deposited right into our sandbox and an onslaught of fantastic summery weather.
And rather than the music of the ocean, we’ve got a symphony of frogs, crickets, and birds…

We just got back this afternoon from a very similar trip! Enjoy your time away!
Looks like a wonderful time! We have a bit of sunburn here… and our first 90 degree day. A little sand in H’s bed too… from the playground. As for waves… I guess we’ll have to settle for watching the small ones that form on windy days on some of our 10,000 lakes! Enjoy, enjoy!
