Y’all are going to have to excuse me for not having anything much to say today. I spent the weekend at a retreat with some amazing women, and while refreshing to the mind and spirit, it was also completely exhausting for this old home-body… could have had something to do with 18 women chit chatting until the wee hours, serious soul searching, over eating, squinty-eyed jewlery making, long walks and belly laughs.
You can see the amazing spot where we stayed here. If you’re ever out this way, I would HIGHLY reccommend it. It was gorgeous, peaceful, a treasure.
Here are a few of the photos that did not involve women shielding their faces with their hands from that girl who always has her blasted camera out
1. Little Cabin In the Woods, 2. Tin Roof, 3. Oh The FOOD!, 4. The Wheel, 5. The Spot, 6. Prickly Pears, 7. Jewlery Making, 8. Lit, 9. Moonrise
Now excuse me while I go back to snuggling and vegging with my guys.
Until tomorrow…

Oh, a retreat…. wow, how wonderful. I bet it’s good to be home, though. As usual, beautiful photos. I’ve been waiting for your post today – before I head off to bed! It’s after 11pm here. Good night, have a lovely day with your boys.
lovely, stefani. hope you get some rest today!
That looks like a remarkable weekend, Stefani. I’m glad you had the opportunity to do that. I just want to go sit on that bench for a while and admire the view.
looks like an amazing weekend, stefani! wishing you a smooth and restful transition back to home…
sounds like a fantastic weekend! :^)
Glad you a had a chance to get away, makes you appreciate home even more.
Looks like a beautiful place to be! I too had a weekend away with 11 other women – not a retreat more of a girlie weekend but 40 squares for a baby blanket were knitted – I tell you there were a number of closet knitters amongst us!!
woa, woa, woa…i have a slew of women who would head out for a time like that.
beautiful.
Oh yes…sounds like rollicking fun! But sometimes you need a vacation from your vacation? Glad your getting some down time with the boys. Much love friend!
Looks like fun! But there’s no place like home, snuggling with the little ones. Hmm, we should plan a knitting retreat.
Once, when I moved to one state from another, and was between jobs for almost 2 months, I found I really missed the company of other women. I love my home, I love my husband, but sometimes I need a little getaway with other women to keep me balanced. That would have been a lovely place to do so.
