Julie and Julia Giveaway!

by Stefani on 7-December-2009

Happy new week, friends!

We're gonna have some fun today y'all….

The folks from Julie and Julia are celebrating tomorrow's release of the DVD by letting me give away a copy to one lucky Blue Yonder reader.

Julieandjulia_boxart

You can get a little glimpse of this scrumptious movie here.

You can also visit the official site here AND check out their fun new facebook app . It lets you share your best recipes and find some great new ones too.

Julie and Julia is really so sweetly endearing. It's a whole bunch of fun and just mouth-wateringly good. I can't wait to watch it from the comfort of my own kitchen! Seriously, this movie will make you HUNGRY, so I'm thinking watching it while cooking will be way the way to go!

So how do you get  your hot little hands on a free copy?

1) Leave a comment on this post, any old comment will do.

But don't stop there! Get more entries by doing any or all of the following, and then posting a comment telling me that you did:

2) Tweet about this contest

3) Post about this contest on your Facebook page.

4) Become a fan of the movie on Facebook

5) Blog about this contest

6) Share a link to your favorite holiday/entertaining recipe

Please remember to leave a SEPARATE comment for each entry. If you put it all in one comment, it will only count as one entry.

I will choose a winner by random number generator tomorrow, December 8th, at 8PM Central Time, and will announce the winner's name here, on this post, shortly after.

Good luck!

Congratulations to our winner, Meg, who said,

"I loooooved the book and I've not seen the movie yet, but

I imagine it's probably just as good with that cast. What an awesome giveaway!"

Yay Meg!!!

I would love to win this. I was dying to see the movie but my hubby was a kiljoy and refused to go with me and I wasn’t in the mood to go alone. If I don’t win I guess I will have to buy it myself and force the hubby to watch it. Revenge is sweet. 🙂

At Christmas, my family always makes Vamino Bars from an old fundraiser cookbook from my grandparent’s church. They’re AMAZING and it wouldn’t be Christmas without them. I found a similar recipe online:
