This is just one of those things we have to do.
We have to read this book,
which by the way has a lovely page of silhouettes, and you do know how I feel about that, right?
So anyway, as I was saying, we have to read that book, and we have to play “Cranberry Bog.”
We have to because it isn’t fall, and it isn’t almost Thanksgiving if we don’t. It just isn’t.
It’s sort of a love note, a crimson ode, if you will, to my favorite season.

Fun! There’s nothing like visiting a real cranberry bog – it’s quite impressive! That book looks very sweet.
I have to keep reminding myself that it’s almost Thanksgiving. Will I ever get used to it not being gloomy?
Yes, it’s all sneaking up way too fast!!
You really do take amazingly beautiful photos – this is a lovely place to visit!
Oh goodness! I looked at the calender last night and almost hyperventalated (sp?)! Thanksgiving cannot be next week!
I love your cranberry bog idea.
Cool! Here in Colorado we can only buy cranberries in a bag. Boo-hoo!
You are always full of good ideas. Jack is going to love this.
I’d like to write a love note. I’d like a bunch of us to write love notes, to something, like this.
And I Love. The close up photo of the cup and water and cranberries. It’s my favorite.
lovely, lovely, lovely. the photos. the learning play. the new banner. all of it.
Did you all sing the children’s song “Hi, Ho the Rattlin’ Bog” while you were there? It’s a great song! http://www.danzanes.com/nighttime/song_rattlin_bog.shtml
SO wonderful! Love the colors. Does the cranberry paint stay that color?
I hope you don’t mind, but I got tagged for a meme, so I tagged you, too!
Just beautiful
I did not know this book existed! Where I have been??? Every year the kiddos and I read Cranberry Christmas. It is the same copy I read with my mom and sister. Off to hunt a book down! It just has to get here before next Thursday.
We read that book for the first time last year – lent to us by my uncle. I think we need to rustle up a copy of our own. And make some delicious cranberry bread while we’re at it. Oh, how I love this season!
beautiful cranberries .. i am totally unfamiliar with this book, but it looks great!
I think we must do this tomorrow. Love, love the painting with the cranberries.
