Guess Where We Are?

by Stefani on 19-May-2009

Two Small Boys, One Big Ocean

My parents called us up a few weeks ago and said, "guess where we're taking you?"

Fascination

It took us about,

oh…

4/10 of a second to pack our bags!"

And it Feels So Good

We're a little sunburned, despite mama attacking them every four seconds with the can of spray on sunscreen.

There was sand in my bed last night.

I have eaten way too much fried food.

And it's bliss.

Every. LIttle. Bit.

ANY time at the beach is bliss. At least I think so.

Lucky ducks…

On of the drawbacks of living in the middle of the desert… 🙁

Amber May 19, 2009 at 10:06 am

I live near the ocean. But not that kind of ocean. And certainly not at this time of year. I’m glad you’re enjoying yourselves. 🙂

OH, so lucky!!!! I long for the warm sun, sand between my toes, and peel & eat shrimp in big piles! Wow… we have to plan a trip soon!

Linda May 19, 2009 at 10:33 am

Oh wow, awesome, I miss the sea…

Cassandra May 19, 2009 at 10:34 am

I’m just a little jealous.

However, we have sand in our shoes too, as a result of a load deposited right into our sandbox and an onslaught of fantastic summery weather.

And rather than the music of the ocean, we’ve got a symphony of frogs, crickets, and birds…

Aaahhhhh! Summer!

So great to be sharing a bit of the ocean with you this week.

It does sound like bliss! laughed about the sandy bed and fried food…definite signs of vacation. I love the wild waves and the light in these pics.

Looks like the picture you had as your blog header when I started reading last summer! I’m guessing Port Aransas!

We just got back this afternoon from a very similar trip! Enjoy your time away!

Kerry May 19, 2009 at 8:31 pm

Looks like a wonderful time! We have a bit of sunburn here… and our first 90 degree day. A little sand in H’s bed too… from the playground. As for waves… I guess we’ll have to settle for watching the small ones that form on windy days on some of our 10,000 lakes! Enjoy, enjoy!
