The hardest one was our black giant, she/he was beautiful and so friendly. My little girl still goes outside and holds the other hens and sings them a song to the black Giant “Larry” formerly known as Lavinia.

I got teary eyed reading your chic posts, cause I’m in the thick of it now. I could have very well taken those pictures you’ve shown. I feel your pain, yet joy that your hens are at a better place.
